| About the Authors This site was created in fulfillment of a class project requirement for the Interdisciplinary Certificate in Aging, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, by Claire de la Varre, MSIS, in collaboration with Malaz Boustani, MD. Claire de la Varre graduated from the School of Information and Library Science at UNC-CH in 2000, spent 3 years working at the University of Edinburgh Learning Technology Section, in Scotland, and now works as a research associate at the Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Service Research, Chapel Hill, as a research associate. Claire is a doctoral student in educational psychology at the School of Education, UNC-CH. She has an interest in the information needs of older adults, and technology in medical education. Malaz Boustani, MD, is currently Assistant Professor at the Department of Medicine, Division of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, Indiana University, Indianapolis, IN.
